We did the final evaluations on the pups today. The evaluation is really just a continuation from what we have already done. Rather than a chukar wing or a live chukar in a kick cage, I used a dead chukar I had in the freezer for training. Thawed him out for todays session. The objective today was really just to confirm independence and prey drive. They all looked great!
This was our last change to give the puppies an exposure to something totally new before they start going home to their humans so we decided to introduce them to my horse, T-Bone. 🙂
As we are getting really near to due date, an x-ray was completed to get a more accurate count of expected puppies. Well…vet counted 11. Let the fun begin. Oh, my!
