Wing/Toy on a String II

In this session we took each of the pups out individually. We are looking for their desire to “look around” and how well they respond to the chukar wing on a string and toy on a string. If you dangle something on a string in front of a puppy, he/she will want to play with it. What we were looking for, and found in every puppy, is that they were more intense on the wing as compared to the toy. Most of the pups gladly gave up the toy to go after the wing, but not the other way around. Next week will tell the story — you would be surprised how much they mature in just a few days at this stage of the game — but thus far, they all look like serious hunters. We want to provide as much video as possible so their prospective future humans can decide for themselves.
