Journey is our little “pocket rocket” beauty with an outstanding pedigree and strong dual dog potential. She achieved her Show Championship at 13 months old by winning 4 majors, 3 of which were Specialty shows and has been Owner-Handled exclusively by Rhonda or her co-owner & breeder, Shellie Systma of Caliah Brittanys. Journey immediately followed up going Best Opposite for a 5 point major for her first Grand Championship major points, and completed her Grand Championship in the Fall of 2023. She was honored as the Best Opposite at the 2022 Western Futurity. Journey is current training is focused on hunt dog training, field trials and hunt tests. She has 23 field placements, with the maximum AKC points (first place) achieved in Open & Amateur Puppy and Open & Amateur Derby. She also completed her Junior Hunting Title in 4 consecutive braces with outstanding scores of 9’s & 10’s, and will be working toward her Master Hunter Title the Summer of 2024.

At home, Journey loves to play with her pack siblings as they run, play tag and explore the 4 acres of yard and woods they are free to roam. In the evening, she becomes a cuddly, snuggly lap dog. Journey is our shining “little girl” with a limitless potential!
