Happy 3rd Birthday to the “Springtime” Litter! Here’s some of the updates submitted along with an bonus update from Annie, the star Brittany on Reel & Ridges seen on You Tube.

Teal Girl: Brittany Country’s Duchess Silver Pigeon Beretta

Beretta lives in Utah, where she spends her time with her loving humans, Clint and Britanie, in a very active, full life! Britanie writes, “Beretta is a hunting and camping ⛺️ dog. She loves swimming and crossing into mommas fishing line. I would say dad’s line, but he’s too busy tying more on my line from me breaking it off or her, or playing fetch in the lake with her. She has her own camp chair by the fire and no one is welcome to sit in it! She will let you know it’s hers. She’s a cuddlier and prefers to not be left alone ever. She sleeps on the bed with mom and dad, and she gets first pick of the spot. When I had surgery, she didn’t leave me day or night and even made her spot on the recliner with me. She also LOVES car rides! We have more than enjoyed watching her grow into the hunting puppy and outdoor loving dog. We are ready for another Brittney Country puppy. Thank you Rhonda and Brian for the best friends and dogs a man can own.”

Pink Girl: Brittany Country’s Maggie May in Springtime Maggie

Maggie’s owners, John and Marj, sent this update and photos: “Our pup Maggie is doing great!! Just love her!! We moved back East (Polk Township in NE Pennsylvania) July 2025 to be close to our family & friends. Maggie took to pheasant hunting in PA right away. John is an excellent trainer too! She kicked up two birds opening day Oct 2025 in just few minutes on PA State lands where they stock. Her broken leg* healed beautifully after casts ans Aqua-therapy.” *At 3 months old, Poor Maggie had an unfortunate run-in with a momma deer in her own backyard. She broke her left rear leg (tibia and fibula), 3 ribs, 2 teeth, internal severe contusions and hernia. Poor baby and her poor humans – Marj said she’d never forgot the awful screams coming from little Maggie during the attack- but with excellent care from Marj & John and vet, with followup Aqua therapy, she obviously made an outstanding recovery!

Green Boy: Brittany Country’s Springa Mystics

Cedar

Cedar’s favorite human, Abby, says, “Cedar is doing great, super high energy happy boy! He is such a goofy dog. He has a new sister, a Border Collie named Reba, she was my granddad’s dog (who recently passed). Cedar is absolutely in love with her.” Abby, Cedar and Reba share a little farm with several goats!

Yellow boy: Brittany Country’s Spring Creek Amarillo Rio

Rio lives in Tucson with his loving family, John and Victoria and their two beautiful children. He is enjoying life as John’s awesome hunting partner, as well as the family companion and playmate. He was also featured with his half-sister, Annie, on Reels and Ridges (YouTube) when they came to hunt in the Arizona snow. Rio is maturing very nicely and is really developing into a great hunting dog. He is looking great in the field. Hunting at a comfortable range at about 80 yards and checking to make sure [John] is following. He has good stamina and pace, good points, and “retrieves as good as I can ask”, as well as smart relocations when possible.

Speaking of Annie…

Annie is from our litter born in 2021 and lives an awesome life in Nevada with her favorite humans, Jordon and Kyndra. Jordan and his brother have a YouTube channel called, Reels and Ridges which highlights their hunting and fishing adventures. Annie is definitely the upland bird hunting star (in our opinion, for sure!) Jordon recently sent this update on their girl: “She had a fantastic season, we only missed one weekend! We have been doing less videos but I think Annie hunted more this year than she ever has; I shot about 50 birds with her this year and my brother shot about the same, most of which he also owes to Annie! Lime Girl: Brittany Country’s Dew on Sage

Sage

Sage is living an awesome life in Washington with her owners, Jason and Traci, and their two boys, Calvin (age 16) and Logan (age 10). Jason writes that “both [boys] love Sage with all their hearts, Calvin has been hunting over Sage with me when he isn’t doing football or lacrosse. Logan also plays lacrosse and can’t wait to hunt over Sage.” 

“Sage is one of a kind and has a huge hunt drive and a wonderful camping and family dog. We all love and enjoy our time with her. But still a crazy brittany lol.”

Grey boy: Brittany Country’s Spring Air

Breeze

Breeze has entered AKC and Navhda trials and events, has been hunted in E Oregon on wild birds, and was board-and- trained with a pro trainer for several months. He has a good nose and loves retrieving to hand. Breeze has participated in AKC puppy, derby and gun dog stakes, along with NAVDA event earning a Prize I in Natural Ability. He’s 43 pounds, stands 22 inches, and has an A+ temperament. Thanks Brian and Rhonda for your training and trialing feedback and Happy Birthday Jazz x Jake littermates!

Blue boy: Brittany Country’s Scree Rayo

Scree

Scree lives in Eastern Washington on a large farm with his owner Darrick and family-Living the life as a farm dog and big time hunting partner. Darrick writes, “Hard to believe it’s only been 3 years! Scree has become a fantastic dog both in the field, house and farm. We’ve hunted all over the western states, we fell 2 birds short of the 50 rooster goal I had set for him, all wild birds, with many Huns, chukar and quail mixed in.”
